Shoe Fetish: Prada Dress Boots...

Merry ‘blank’-ing Christmas for me! You won’t believe me when I tell you this but I picked up these “Prada Dress Boots” for US$110. What’s the catch? There was a chip on the inside of the heel. Oh no!

Oh yes, but I took them to my local shoe repair shop (thank you very much Mr. Wicks!!!!!) and they fixed them right up for just $35 more! Like new! You can’t even tell! OMG, look what the girl scored for under $150! These retail for about $1,400. I would never even look at them for that price. And, I never find size 10’s on discount like this! Holy crap!

Okay, now that my sugar high has died, let’s talk about the boots. First of all they’re awesome and the color is awesome. The leather is so soft and they small magnificent. They have a wider heel so you could easily run in these (but one would not do that!) anyway they’re really stable. A lot of my boots don’t fit me well at the opening of the shaft but these are very snug which is great (I guess ‘they‘ assume a size 10 foot means giant calves!)

The day after I got these back from Senior Wicks I wore them with sheer nude stockings, an indigo wrap dress, and a matching brown scarf. What a wonderful outfit. I felt great all day. I love that feeling when you know you’re put together well with clever style…
