I seem to be drawn to women’s work wear that draws inspiration from menswear. This is most likely some sub-conscious attempt on my part to fit into a male dominated business environment. I love these shoes. They work extremely well with long, flowing, wide leg trousers. With dresses and skirts they tend to draw too much attention down below, but perhaps you can pull that look off. I can’t. Five inches is pretty high for the office so pick your battles.
Obviously the material, quality and workmanship are top notch and the thicker heel makes these shoes both comfortable and extremely stable to walk around in. I’d obviously avoid the cobblestones but my experience on streets and sidewalks thus far has been fairly good.
