Jewelry is one of my weaknesses: I’m weak for shoes but my jewelry knowledge, experience and selection needs improvement. I know what I like though so that’s a good place to start…

I usually limit my jewelry in the workplace to a simple necklace, keep rings to a minimum and always wear studs. I usually avoid bracelets as they tend to bang on the tables and chairs. The pieces I own are simple, elegant, of very fine quality and were quite pricey. I don’t have a lot of variety but what I do have is stylish and versatile. Away from work I love all things bohemian: necklaces, bracelets, rings, blah, blah blah… I do avoid the hoops though (hate those rats!). I layer a lot and like to have fun with it – the more the merrier.

I don’t see a lot to the middle ground here. I either buy very nice or go very low end (outdoor markets, artsy shops, booths and the like). So, it’s nice to find something in between that I can live with. Here are a few ideas for the cost conscious fashion savvy jewelry girl.
