After considerable research, thought and practical experience (ala hours and hours of walking) here are my thoughts on Ivanka Trump’s footwear line…

“Ivanka, you’re not fired but you have been demoted to the secretary’s pool!“… Oh, so you can understand me, sorry… Her shoes are hit and miss…

Three examples of my study materials…

At left – “Ivanka Trump Chalta Pumps” – beautiful, good quality, a decent fit, they are not super comfortable (even with gel inserts) and they walk a bit wobbly…

At Center – “Ivanka Trump Bulbli Peep-Toe Pumps” – beautiful, good quality, good fit, moderately comfortable and fairly stable, they walk fairly well…

At Right – “Ivanka Trump Apryls Platform Peep-Toe Pumps” – beautiful, good quality, good fit, very comfortable and very stable, they walk very well…

All three pair cost over $120 so let’s consider them expensive. For expensive shoes they offer good quality and materials but the design is lacking with regard to fit, comfort and walk-a-bility. As expected, the platforms offer better stability and comfort.

Conclusion – These are not for everyday wear (style & versatility aside) because they are not comfortable enough and they are not going to be durable enough to stand up to constant wear. These are too expensive to sit in the closet and at the same time, not expensive enough to sit in the closet. Basically I will want to wear them more often than is practical for me to do so and they cost enough for me to give a care… For the money, you can do better with another luxury line…

I’ll keep what I’ve got but look with a very weary eye in the future… Sorry Donald!…
