Obviously, I haven’t worn these out and about yet but from the several hours of household break-in I’ve undertaken thus far, these get a definite thumbs up. I like the style, the quality is good, the heel is stable and most importantly the laces and brass buckles didn’t give my feet any problems whatsoever.
Keep in mind that my experience in these sandals is limited to a long afternoon of cooking dinner so I can’t speak to their wear-ability in the heat but my experience with leather is usually very good when it’s hot. Oh, and the padding in the platform foot bed is pretty good (I was standing on a hardwood floor!) Overall, a nice add to the collection…
